 Trustindex verifies whether the original source of the review is Google. I can wholeheartedly recommend ILS Aarau and, in particular, my English teacher Angelica! With her support, I prepared for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam and passed it successfully—in the end, I was even just two points short of the C2 level. To me, that shows just how much I was able to learn and improve during that time. Angelica isn’t just an incredibly competent teacher; she also manages to make every lesson interesting, varied, and highly educational at the same time. The lessons were never boring—we were able to laugh, have great conversations, and still work very specifically on my English and exam preparation. I felt very comfortable in her lessons right from the start. Many thanks to Angelica for the great support, the patience, and all the knowledge she shared with me. Now I’m at Level A2 and I’m totally thrilled. The teachers are simply outstanding—you can tell they really enjoy teaching. Content Business French private

As the official language in Switzerland, French is also an important part of the basic skills expected by an employer in the working world. Those who have not yet had sufficient opportunity to bring their French up to a fluent level in school have the opportunity to do so in a specially tailored French course.

Here you will learn subject-specific vocabulary, can refresh your grammatical knowledge and, above all, practice oral communication in order to appear competent in your work environment. To do this, we use textbooks, magazine articles and exposés structured according to specific topics that are relevant in everyday work. Everyday life in the office, small talk, job applications, resumes and job interviews, meetings, but also presentations and negotiations are addressed here.

All four language skills (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written and oral expression) are practiced here, and you can choose your own focus.

Exemplary exercise texts are used to show the different levels of politeness, from "very respectful", to "formal to friendly", to "less formal" and "very private". Grammar, which is already partly assumed, is also deepened and underpinned in these lessons. For example, when is it sufficient to conclude an email with "Sincères salutations. and when is it better to use the longer formula: "Veuillez accepter, Madame, l'expression de mes respectueux hommages"? You will learn this and more in our course.

In a private course, our teachers can also respond to your individual needs and create a lesson plan that suits your needs.
